Colonial volunteers help at walk to fight breast cancer

Early on the morning of Saturday June 13th, members of Colonials Community Volunteer Corps, sponsored by Colonial Youth and Family Services helped at the Long Island Walk to Fight Breast Cancer. Volunteer members and staff arrived at 5:30am at Smith point Beach to help set up for the walk.

Volunteers helped set up the staging and breakfast area for the 600 walkers and then proceeded to the Marina to set up the lunch area. Event organizers thanked the volunteers for their service and invited them back to help again next year. This is the twelfth year that Colonials Community Volunteers have helped at this event.
