First Annual Northwell Health Walk at East End

Close to ten thousand people will be taking steps to make health care better in our communities on Sunday, May 21 at the Northwell Health Walk. This year, the Northwell Health Walk will take place at four locations – East End Long Island, Jones Beach, Staten Island and Westchester.

The East End walk location supports building the East End’s premier Regional Heart Center and Women’s Health Program in our region. All funds raised for the East End Walk will benefit Peconic Bay Medical Center. Walkers are encouraged to pre-register online at www.northwellhealthwalk.org. Pre-registration will allow for fast pass access for day-of festivities. Day of registration begins promptly at 8:30am with Walk Opening Ceremonies beginning at 9:45am.

Details and check-in times for each location are as follows:

Jones Beach: 5k (3.1 miles) at Jones Beach State Park, Field 4 (boardwalk). Check in: 8:30am. Walk begins: 10am. Complimentary parking will be provided at Field 4.
