On Thursday, September 27, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Legislator Kate Browning along with Suffolk County’s Department of Public Works and its sewer consultant will be hosting a public informational meeting regarding the proposed expansion of the Mastic/Shirley Sewer district boundaries.
At this meeting Suffolk County’s Department of Public works will present the expanded boundaries, sewage treatment plant location, type of sewer system to be constructed and impacts on property owners within the district. They will also explain the process going forward by which a sewer district will be created. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers.
