Woodhull second graders stay “WARM” through reading

During the week of February 27 through March 3, second-grade classes at Nathaniel Woodhull Elementary School celebrated the reading initiative “We Are Reading More” (WARM) Week, which also included “Read Across America Day” on March 2, the birthday of the legendary Dr. Seuss!

For WARM Week, students spent extra time reading their favorite books in class and each day had the opportunity to participate in a fun theme such as “Favorite Book Character Day,” “Twin Day,” “Wacky Wednesday & Book Swap Day,” “Superhero Day/Dr. Seuss Day” and “Pajama Day.”

Students participating were from Mrs. Maria Casoria’s class, Mrs. Rebecca Dugan’s class, Mrs. Jen Hubert’s class, Mrs. Jillian Lee’s class and Mr. Daniel O’Sullivan’s class.
