Free cat adoptions and rabies clinic

The Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center will hold the Kitty Free-FUR-All cat adoption promotion for the entire month of May. The normal $125 adoption fee will be waived and includes free neuter or spay, vaccinations, microchip, license, FELV/FIV test, flea and fecal.

The free rabies clinic will be held on Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The clinic is open to all town residents and offers free rabies vaccinations for all dogs, cats and ferrets. It is co-sponsored by the Town of Brookhaven and the Suffolk County Department of Health Services.
