Participate in fun shops, nature walks, seine the Carmans river, build an underwater Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) and remotely explore the river, visit the Kids Discovery Center, games and activities, and exhibits for the entire family!
Our fun shops include presentations about Long Island’s birds of prey, marine life, native plants, nature sketching, smart phone photography, tracking turtles, create a pitch pine bonsai, Fire Rangers, wildlife forensics and MORE.
Also join expert Naturalists on guided walks along the trails of the Refuge and on the Carmans River! Seining and dock scrapping for some hands on aquatic life fun! All ages welcome!
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult on Nature Walks
