WFMS and WFHS student musicians selected to perform in NYSBDA’s annual symposium

Twelve incredibly talented William Floyd student musicians were recently selected to perform in the annual New York State Band Directors Association’s (NYSBDA) Symposium in Syracuse, N.Y., on March 1-3, 2024. Nine William Floyd High School students will perform in the NYSBDA High School Honor Band and three William Floyd Middle School students will perform in the NYSBDA Middle School Honor Band. This is a tremendous honor for student musicians and another example of why the district’s music department is among the very best in the state! Congratulations to the student-musicians and their teachers!
