Now entering its 48th Season, the Long Island Game Farm -– Wildlife Park & Children’s Zoo will officially open on Thursday, April 13. During the opening weeks, guests will have the opportunity to learn about the forthcoming baby animals, including chicks, ducklings and kid goats, and will be able to pet and hand feed the animals once they are born.
Though some of the park’s Summer animals (giraffe, camels and lemurs) are still vacationing in Florida until May, the Spring season is always an especially fun and relaxing time for guests to visit, with cooler weather, smaller crowds and lower prices. In celebration of the season opening, the park is offering a reduced Spring admission price of $14.95+ per child (age 3 to 12), senior (age 62+) or military personnel; and $16.95+ per adult (age 13 to 61). As always, discount coupons will be available online and through the company’s Facebook page.
“We are so excited to get started on 48th season,” says Melinda Novak, Vice President/Co-Owner, Long Island Game Farm. “We always love seeing the children welcome our new baby animals and we look forward to visits from the families, schools and organizations each year. In addition to the Springtime fun, we have a lot of new events, shows and activities planned for the 2017 Season, so be sure to check our Website and social media pages for up-to-date details.”
Now is also a great time to book school trips, children’s birthday parties and company outings, in addition to securing spots for summer events such as birthdays and camp trips.
