William Floyd hosts 36th Annual Senior Citizens Appreciation Dinner

The William Floyd School District recently hosted its 36th annual Senior Citizens’ Dinner held at John S. Hobart Elementary School as a way to show appreciation to the local citizens. Residents were treated to a tasty meal, student musical performances of the William Floyd High School Jazz Band under the direction of Michael Cordaro and “The Soundsations” under the direction of Barbara D’Orio and were served by members of the John S. Hobart Elementary School Student Council and the William Floyd High School NJROTC. More than 200 residents came out to share in the fun and fellowship of the evening. Special thanks to Carol Sears and the entire committee for organizing such a wonderful event each year.
