William Floyd United Teachers hosting spring raffle on Friday, March 16

William Floyd United Teachers is hosting a “Luck O’ the Irish Raffle Fundraiser” this Friday, March 16, at 6 pm in the William Floyd High School library with proceeds benefiting the William Floyd High School classes of 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Funds raised through this event will help to defray the costs of student-funded events and also go toward senior scholarships. Tickets cost $15 each which includes one book of 25 tickets. Refreshments of coffee, cookies and water will be served free of charge.

The William Floyd community came together to generously donate so many wonderful gifts and prizes including a 49” UHD 4K television, bicycles, beautifully-arranged gift baskets, gift cards and more! Donations came from individuals, parents, students, businesses, community members, various departments, offices and every school in the district, along with local businesses such as All-Pro Sports, Disney, Napa Auto Parts, Stadium Car Wash, Greek Bites, Wanda’s Gym, McDonald’s, Super Sports Cards, East End Printing, Shirley Auto Body, Giacalone’s Deli, the Long Island Aquarium, Ice Cream Cottage, Monti’s Barbershop and many more! Come on out for a great time!
