The graduating Class of 2024 of Bay Shore High School and Islip High School celebrated both of their proms in spectacular fashion on June 25. While Bay Shore students strutted down the red carpet leading the way to their celebration at the Marriott in Melville, the party was also getting started at the Islip prom, held at Land’s End in Sayville.
The Islip prom concluded back at the high school, where the annual Post Prom was held—an event that gives students a safe place to go to after the prom to continue hanging out with their friends, dance, and win some pretty big prizes. The Post Prom Committee is led by coordinator and board of education member Paul Austin, along with parents of students currently in school or graduated.
