The Boys & Girls Club of the Bellport Area recently hosted a Back-to-School Bash, with school supplies, backpack giveaways and more.
Over 400 backpacks were delivered and 326 ice cream cones eaten, as well as 500 chapter books distributed from the Bellport Teachers Association.
The event also served as an opportunity to tour the facility, with a meet-and-greet for the new leadership. There were also games, dancing, a STEM presentation, cooking, and community resources as well as live music.
The event took place on Tuesday, Aug. 29, at the 471 Atlantic Avenue, Bellport location.
