Harbor Freight Tools coming to Shirley

Councilman Dan Panico recently announced that the long-vacant former Staples located at 855 Montauk Highway in Shirley has been filled. Soon, Harbor Freight Tools signed the lease for the occupancy and will soon move in. The move will make the center 100 percent occupied once again, thanks to Damianos Realty Group, Panico said.
"It has been a pleasure to work with the principles of Damianos Realty Group which purchased that property and invested in it. We worked together to get their permit and approvals necessary for the Aldi construction and here they are now taking the long-vacant center building and bringing in Harbor Freight Tools,” he said. “That entire shopping center has gone from almost 100 percent vacant to what will be almost 100 percent full.”
Panico promised to continue to reach out to the new owners to see how the town can help them.
“Damianos has been one of great success,” he added. “I appreciate their commitment to the community and to their properties."
