High school football is back in full swing. Check out the scores of local districts to see how they fared this past week.
West Islip
The Lions won their first home game of the season, against Connetquot, 24-7. West Islip’s next game will be Saturday, Sept. 24 at 2 p.m. against West Babylon.
Bay Shore
The Marauders fell to Commack 35-7 in their home opener on Sept. 17. Bay Shore’s next game will be on Sept. 24 against Riverhead. The game will also serve as the Marauders’ homecoming, with the parade beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Islip/East Islip
East Islip defeated Islip 28-21 on Friday, Sept. 16. The Buccaneers will play next on Sept. 24 for their homecoming game against Half Hollow Hills West. The Redmen’s next game is slated for Sept. 23 against Amityville Memorial.
