High school football is back, and with it comes the timeless tradition of the homecoming game. The Islip Bulletin has put together a list of all of the homecoming games of local districts as well as any parades or activities accompanying the game.
Islip
Saturday, Sept. 24 at 2 p.m. vs. Half Hollow Hills West
Parade will be at noon on Main Street headed west to the high school grounds.
East Islip
Saturday, Oct. 22 at 2 p.m. vs. Comsewogue
High school principal Mark Bernard noted that they are “working on a parade and some food trucks” and more information will be released soon.
Bay Shore
Saturday, Sept. 24 at 1 p.m. vs. Riverhead
At 11:30 a.m., the parade will begin from 5th Avenue to Clifton LaPlatney Field. Also at 11:30 a.m., a fan fest will open on the grass field next to Turf 2. During halftime, class floats will parade around the track and the homecoming court will be introduced and the king and queen will be crowned.
West Islip
Saturday, Oct. 8 at 2 p.m. vs. Lindenhurst
Parade start time is 1:15 p.m. along Higbie Lane (starting at Westbrook Elementary School).
