We always have lots of children who are referred to us in the hopes that Santa will be good to them, and we also get lots of last-minute requests, so this will be a real blessing to us. Right now, we are busy going over the lists, purchasing items, recruiting shoppers and wrappers, and adopting out families as people ask to help. We will also be filling boxes with food for Christmas dinners, as we normally do.

If you are interested in being one of our happy helpers, please contact us at 631-848-9008. Keith is very thrilled to be representing Santa at the 2022 Dream Big Holiday Benefit held on Dec. 2 at Stereo Garden in Patchogue. He’s hoping that the attendees will fill Santa’s sack for folks in need. This benefit is a wonderful event put together by American Dream Abstract to benefit a deserving nonprofit. Last year, Helping Makes U Happy was the chosen charity, and we were delighted to be asked if we’d participate this year!

We will also be donating toys to the SCPD 7th Precinct COPE officers for their Christmas breakfast for local children whose families need a helping hand, which is something we try to do every year. We are looking forward to the CMFD’s Parade of Lights on Dec. 10, and the Chamber of Commerce’s Winter Wonderland Festival on Dec. 11. On Dec. 14 at 2:30 p.m., we are going to be so pleased to be reactivating the Holiday Boutique, a free shopping event for the residents of Oasis Nursing Home.

It really warms the heart to do this for the residents, and if you’d like to help with setup or cleanup, please give us a call. We are also accepting donations of any new items for this event.

Wishing you all the most blessed holiday ever!
