Legis. Steven J. Flotteron recently recognized Matthew Frick of Islip on achieving Eagle Scout with Troop 151 at his Eagle Court of Honor at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. Matthew’s service project, earning him Eagle Scout status, was doing a food drive at Stop & Shop in Bay Shore for St. Patrick’s Church food pantry, which helps the needy families and veterans in the community. He was able to deliver two tons of nonperishable food as a result of his efforts. He is currently attending SUNY at Farmingdale and is a graduate of St. John the Baptist High School.
