East Islip

East Islip’s budget passed with 951 votes yes, and 309 votes no. 

Additionally, Proposition 2, for the establishment of a capital reserve fund, was passed by a vote of 917 to 310.

Incumbent and current board of education President Michael Dorgan was re-elected with 868 votes. Incumbent and current Vice President Stephen Ruland was also re-elected for a second term, with 931 votes.

Islip

Islip’s budget passed with 719 votes yes, and 244 votes no.

Incumbent Paul Austin was re-elected for a third term with 715 votes, and incumbent Eric Buehler was re-elected for a third term with 724 votes. Incumbent Tom Leggio, who has been serving on the board since the early 2000s and currently serves as Vice President, was also re-elected with 807 votes.

Bay Shore

Bay Shore’s budget passed with 614 votes yes, and 160 votes no.

Incumbent and current board of education President Jennifer Brownyard was re-elected for a second term with 632 votes, and incumbent Susan Gargan was re-elected for her fourth term with 611 votes.

West Islip

West Islip’s budget with 1,231 votes yes, and 315 votes no.

Additionally, Proposition #2: Use of Capital Reserve, was approved with 1,272 votes yes, and 225 votes no.
Incumbent Richard Antoniello was re-elected for a third term with 1,173 votes, and incumbent Debbie Brown was elected for her second term with 1,089 votes.
