Local fire districts held their annual elections for commissioner at their fire headquarters on Tuesday, Dec. 10. The results are as follows:
West Sayville-Oakdale
For the five-year term of commissioner, incumbent commissioner Robert S. Noonan received 51 votes. For the position of fire district treasurer, a three-year term, 52 votes were cast for James P. McNamara, who was also an unopposed incumbent.
Sayville
Incumbent commissioner Mark Schmittzeh ran unopposed for the five-year term and received 69 votes.
Bohemia
For the five-year term of commissioner, incumbent Frank Wilhelmy received 150 votes. For the two-year term of commissioner, incumbent Kevin Albro received 157 votes, while John Chavatte received 66.
Bayport
Incumbent Kevin Collins ran unopposed for commissioner of the Bayport Fire District, and all 17 votes cast were for Collins.
Blue Point
Incumbent Dennis McCarthy ran unopposed for a five-year term and was re-elected with 46 votes.
