Brookhaven
Patrick Perry was elected for a five-year term with 108 votes. Eugene Petricevich took 40 votes. There were no propositions.
Hagerman
Martin Fassman was elected to a five-year term with 191 votes. Also, the proposition to increase the Hagerman Fire District Service award from 40 years to 50 years and the amount of earned credit per year from $ 20.00 to $30.00 per year effective Jan. 1, 2025, was passed with 147 votes to 19; 25 votes were left blank.
Mastic
Rudy Sunderman Sr. was re-elected to a five-year term with 76 votes. There were no propositions.
Mastic Beach
Bill Biondi was re-eletced for a five-year term with 50 votes. There were no propositions.
Medford
Craig G. Codwell was re-elected for a five-year term with 142 votes. There was no proposition.
Patchogue
Dennis Logan was elected to a five-year term with 150 votes, and Jill Ferrante was elected treasurer for a three-year term with 137 votes. Also, the proposition for the purchase of a new fire engine passed with 131 yes votes to 39 no votes.
The following Proposition was submitted to the qualified voters for their approval or disapproval:
SHALL the bond resolution of the Patchogue Fire District, a joint fire district, in the Village of Patchogue and Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County, New York, entitled: “BOND RESOLUTION OF THE PATCHOGUE FIRE DISTRICT, A JOINT FIRE DISTRICT, IN THE VILLAGE OF PATCHOGUE AND TOWN OF BROOKHAVEN, SUFFOLK COUNTY, NEW YORK, ADOPTED OCTOBER 16, 2024, AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS IN A PRINCIPAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1,800,000 TO FINANCE THE ACQUISITION OF A FIRE TRUCK, INCLUDING APPARATUS AND EQUIPMENT USED IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, FOR USE BY THE FIRE DISTRICT; STATING THE ESTIMATED MAXIMUM COST THEREOF IS $1,800,000;APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT FOR SUCH PURPOSE; AND PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF TAXES TO PAY THE PRINCIPAL OF SAID BONDS AND THE INTEREST THEREON AS THE SAME BECOME DUE AND PAYABLE,” BE APPROVED?”
