Long Islanders gathered to protest the death of George Floyd in Shirley Monday, along with similar protests across the country. According to Suffolk County Police, there were no arrests made at the protest, and no injuries were reported.
SCPD also confirmed that there were some road closures, including Sunrise Highway, as the protest moved.
