Suffolk County Police today arrested a man for selling cannabis products at a Sayville store.

As part of the department’s “Operation Smoke Out,” Fifth Precinct Crime Section officers conducted a compliance check at Island Hookah, located at 291 Main Street, during which an employee sold cannabis products to an undercover officer.

Officers seized more than 100 marijuana products from the store, several of which were labeled to look like candy. Wayne Bristel Jr., 22, of Mastic, was charged with Unlawful Sale of Marijuana.

He was released on a Field Appearance Ticket and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
