Opening this Saturday, June 29, the Patchogue Arts Council will have their “Patchworks 2024” exhibit on display at the Museum of Contemporary Art on Terry Street in Patchogue until Thursday, Aug. 29.
This year, over 75 artists submitted to the juried art show that was curated by guest curator Lisa Petker Mintz.
Petker Mintz has been a professional artist for nearly 40 years with a background from Queens College, Columbia University, Cooper Union, and the Parsons School of Design.
Local exhibitions of her artwork have been held at the Islip Museum, St. Josephs’s University, MacArthur Airport, Heckscher Museum, and the Alfred Loen Gallery.
