Last week’s ribbon-cutting was attended by numerous officials, along with local business community leaders and senior bank management including Leonard Stekol, chairman, president and CEO of Ridgewood Savings Bank (Ridgewood), as the bank officially opened the Yaphank branch, located in the Town of Brookhaven in Suffolk County. Ridgewood’s expansion into Suffolk County is testament to the bank’s vitality and the strong business climate on Long Island.
“We are very pleased to take part in the exciting local economic development happening in the Town of Brookhaven,” shared Stekol. “Ridgewood’s new state-of-the-art branch brings the best-in banking to the people of Yaphank and nearby communities.”
The new Yaphank branch is located at 541 Boulevard East, Yaphank, NY 11980, in the Shoppes at the Boulevard. Yaphank offers all of Ridgewood’s banking services, products, and community-based programming, and is currently offering Yaphank customers a free “Hello Neighbor” gift, a special promotion CD, and a grand-opening $1,500 gift card sweepstakes, now through June 30, 2023.
