Sixteen East Islip High School seniors recently signed national letters of intent to continue their sports careers at the college level. The students were recognized at a May 14 ceremony hosted by Athletic Director Stephen Restivo in the school’s forum, with their proud families in attendance.
Signing to play at college this fall were Liam Allen (lacrosse, SUNY Maritime), Anthony Avitabile (wrestling, SUNY Oswego), Camden Bloom (lacrosse, Misericordia University), Alyssa Deutsch (soccer, SUNY New Paltz), Bella Eason (tennis, Oswego College), Liam Godbout (ice hockey, Florida Institute of Technology), Kilian Keane (lacrosse, Johnson & Wales University), Jared Kelly (soccer, Springfield College), Jaden Kilmer (field hockey, Western Connecticut State University), Helena Locke (volleyball, Rivier University), Meaghan Olson (softball, St. Joseph’s University), Jaclyn Scandale (cross- country/track, SUNY Cortland), Lorelai Stegemann (softball, Western Connecticut State University), Gavin Veltman (soccer, Springfield College) and Jake Vessalico (volleyball, Regis College).
“Congratulations to all of our dedicated student-athletes on this achievement,” Restivo said.
