Town to close beaches in pools in preparation for Tropical Storm Elsa

In anticipation of the arrival of Tropical Storm Elsa on Long Island, the Town of Brookhaven has announced that all Town Pools and Beaches will be closed on Friday, July 9. The storm is expected to bring heavy rainfall, wind gusts and possible flooding along the south shore.

Residents should call 451-TOWN (8696) to report storm related issues. Call 911 for police, fire and ambulance emergencies only.
