SPCA to distribute dog food to the needy

The Suffolk County will be distributing dog food from their office in Hauppauge.

Chief Roy Gross said "we recognize that there are families with dogs who are in need of some assistance and our purpose in doing this is to help them so their dogs aren't hungry."

We will also accept donations of unopened bags or cans of dog and cat food from anyone who may wish to donate, said Chief Gross.

Please call the SCSPCA office at 631-382-7722 to make an appointment to come in and

pick up your food.  Offer available as long as supplies last.
